The National Resistance Center calls for ignoring any fake election processes in the temporarily occupied territories.
In the Kremlin’s paradigm of thinking, elections do not provide a function of transferring power, but are a purely propaganda construct – an imitation for an external audience.
The main mechanism in this case is the turnout, which is supposed to legitimize the government, and in the case of the TOT, the occupation itself. However, the local population largely ignores this process. That is why the Russians resort to concealing the lack of turnout by stretching the “election” process for several days.
However, this will not help them. We urge you to ignore the entire electoral process and not go to the polls on September 8 during the next local “elections” in Crimea.
At the same time, if you are a public sector employee, please take a sick leave or vacation for this period to be able to ignore your management’s crippling request to participate in the “elections”.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
