Chronicles of the resistance: Ukrainians refuse to take russian pensions, and the occupiers try to bribe the parents of school students

August 30, 2022

The Russians continue to implement terror in the temporarily occupied territories. The pressure on civilians is increasing every day. But despite the inhuman approaches of the enemy, the local population continues to fiercely resist the occupation.

In the Kherson region, russian occupiers are trying to bribe the local population with social payments, but a large number refuse to take the enemy’s money.

Russian tactics in the occupied territories are primitive. By blocking social benefits from Ukraine, they deliberately create a humanitarian crisis, and offer their social benefits, but on the condition of obtaining a passport. In this way, the Kremlin simulates support from the local population. But there is one but. The local population mostly does not support the occupiers, and therefore refuses to participate in his imitation. Yes, even among the socially vulnerable sections of the population, there are cases of refusal to receive pensions.

At the same time, many people do not apply for pensions at all, but Russians began to “issue” pensions with tacit consent. Thus, the russians include “dead souls” in the data of their occupation pension fund in order to inflate the indicators of pension issuance. In this way, the occupiers simultaneously overestimate local support indicators and appropriate funds.

We will remind you that the Russians continue to issue their passports in the temporarily occupied territories in order to “legalize” their war of aggression, but the pace of passporting is a failure for the enemy. Thus, in Berdyansk, from July to almost the end of August, only about 800 people received Russian passports. Note that before the war, more than 113,000 people lived in the city, of which 88,000 were adults.

The humanitarian crisis created by the Russians also became the engine for the creation of the occupation “employment center”.

Yes, unemployment is increasing in the south due to the occupation, and this is all against the background of the onset of cold weather. Therefore, the occupying government offers local people jobs on “collective farms” – farms that the occupiers previously squeezed from farmers.

However, even in order to get a job in the field, there is a condition – to get an enemy’s passport. If there are children in the family, then there is another requirement – an application for enrolling the child in a Russian school. That is, in fact, the Russians are intimidating the local population with hunger and forcing them to work in the fields, at the same time counting on this to solve their problems with the pace of passporting and the failure of the “educational process”.

We will remind you that in the occupied regions of the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians are putting pressure on the low-income social strata of the population in order to increase the pace of passporting. The occupation administration blocked social payments to pensioners and beneficiaries, and the only condition for them to receive payments from the Russian Federation is to obtain an occupier’s passport.

The Center of National Resistance calls on residents of the temporarily occupied territories to evacuate the region for the period of the Armed Forces operation to liberate the territories.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin continues its efforts to simulate the beginning of the school year in the occupied territories. This time, parents are promised to pay for their children in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka.

The Russians are focused on launching their “educational process”, the purpose of which is to create propaganda centers and Russify Ukrainian children. However, despite the fact that they brought their teachers, parents refuse to send their children to Russian schools.

The occupiers threaten parents with confiscation of property and fines for refusing to write an application for their child’s admission to “school”. However, at the same time, they promise to make one-time payments for joining. If earlier they promised 10,000 rubles, now only 2,000 rubles reach people in Nova Kakhovka.

In Melitopol, we traditionally fix “cotton”. The last days of summer are becoming hot not only according to the thermometer. Four powerful explosions thundered the day before near the city. At these sounds, a group of occupiers took off, which was hospitably received on the spot by the fighters of the Resistance Movement.
