Russians massively seize mobile phones from residents of temporarily occupied territories for checks.
Russian troops have strengthened filtering measures on TOT. Now they began to “check” the phones of local residents, selectively stopping people on the streets. The inspection is carried out in compliance with Vladimir Putin’s order regarding the introduction of the so-called martial law.
When checking, the occupiers are interested in Ukrainian applications, subscriptions to Ukrainian media and correspondence. In fact, they failed to win the local population support and responded by intensifying repression and introducing censorship.
The Center of National Resistance calls on local residents to leave the region if possible before it is liberated by the Armed Forces.
