In the temporarily occupied areas of the south and east of Ukraine, the hostile administration is increasing pressure on employees of controlled bodies, institutions, organizations, enterprises to force the receipt of a Russian passport.
In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 31.12.2022 No. 2571, labor relations with persons without Russian citizenship remain until July 1 of this year, after this date, the norms of hostile labor legislation defined for foreign citizens and stateless persons will be applied to such persons.
Therefore, the Russian occupation administration, realizing the fact of unwillingness of Ukrainians to obtain Russian passports, intends to resort to the use of regular legal levers of pressure in order to force Ukrainian citizens to obtain Russian passports.
As a reminder, in order to force Ukrainians to take a Russian passport, the occupiers threaten the residents of the TOT with physical violence. Thus, in the Kherson region, Russians threaten reprisals for refusing a passport.
