in Berdyansk, educational workers en masse refuse to cooperate with the occupiers

In Berdyansk, the occupiers are unable to open schools and kindergartens due to a lack of staff, as educational workers have refused to cooperate with them.

Despite constant pressure, intimidation, and threats from the enemy, the vast majority of teachers today have refused to work for the Russians. Thus, of the 16 preschools operating in the city, 6 heads agreed to cooperate with the occupiers. Out of almost 800 employees of kindergartens, 200 agreed to cooperate.

As for schools, the situation is even worse for the occupiers: out of 18 schools, only 2 principals agreed to cooperate with the occupiers. Of the nearly 1,000 school staff, about 150 agreed. Out of a total of 1,800 educators, only 450 agreed to cooperate, and most of them are junior personnel, not teachers. That is why educational institutions are currently not ready to provide the educational process. As a result, the occupiers are urgently trying to find new workers. As we wrote earlier, it is because of the mass refusal of Ukrainians to cooperate that Russians are forced to transport workers from Russia on a rotating basis.

It should also be noted that out of 85 employees of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Berdyansk Executive Committee, only five agreed to cooperate with the Russians. All others refused not only to cooperate but even to provide the occupiers with lists of privileged categories, including Anti-Terrorist Operation participants.
