Note that in Ukraine there is no procedure for renouncing citizenship, which is also known to russians. The purpose of such an action is to “rally” collaborators in anticipation of a possible counterattack.
So, in fact, the occupation authorities are trying to “mark” traitors. At the same time, the videos also have a propaganda purpose, because they are designed to create the illusion of total support of the invaders from the local population.
