Russians cannot force Ukrainian entrepreneurs to pay taxes to their budget, and plan to force them to do so in 2024.
According to the draft law submitted to the State Duma, entrepreneurs in the captured territories must “register” their business with the Russian tax office by December 31, 2023 in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and by July 1 in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Otherwise, russians threaten to engage in their favorite business – looting.
Entrepreneurs were informed that all enterprises that will not pay taxes to the occupiers will be introduced to “administration” for external management. That is, in fact, the business will be squeezed or closed.
Ukraine’s National Resistance Center calls on the residents of the temporarily occupied territories to leave the region if possible until it is liberated.
