Russian passportization. The prospects

Taking into account the experience of the territories that were previously occupied by the Russian Federation, we talk about the prospects for further life in the occupied territories, or rather the absence of them.

We singled out 5 main risks of obtaining a Russian passport in the temporarily occupied territories.

Having a Russian passport does not make you Russian

If you or someone you know is planning to get a Russian passport based on voluntary judgments, then we have bad news for you: for the Kremlin, resources, and territory makes sense in the occupation. The inhabitants of this territory are not Russians and will never become so for the Kremlin.

The main thing for Moscow is to preserve what has been captured, and that is why the Russian Federation is turning the captured territories into continuous military bases with military settlements. This demonstrates the experience of territories previously occupied by the Russian Federation. The Russians created bases in the Baltics, Königsberg, Crimea, and Donbas, populating these regions with families of the military.

An eloquent example is that when Moscow tries to discredit the idea of supplying Western weapons to Ukraine, it arranges chaotic shelling of Donetsk or Energodar, passing it off as strikes by Western weapons. Note that for some reason the occupiers are not shelling Belgorod or Kursk, because Russians live there, not just holders of enemy passports.

                                                                                                                                                         Legalization of looting

By receiving a Russian passport you voluntarily enter the Russian legal field. Now you have to reregister the property by the legislation of the Russian Federation. So, now the Kremlin regime can legally confiscate this property from you. Note that it there can be many reasons for such a decision in Russia. It can be a post on social media, or simply the need of an enemy army.

Legal worthlessness of the Russian passport

A Russian passport issued in the occupied territories has no legal force for other countries. In effect, you become an undocumented person for the rest of the world. A resident of the “gray zone”. After the occupation of Crimea, “passport tourism” was popular among the inhabitants of the Crimean peninsula. People traveled en masse to the south of Ukraine for a Ukrainian passport, but currently, the Cabinet of Ministers is working on amendments to the law on collaborationism, which will criminalize a voluntary obtaining of a Russian passport. Now it will not work to sit on two chairs.

Mobilization to the ranks of the enemy army

If you are a man of the draft age, you can learn the experience of “colleagues” from the so-called DPR or LPR and even Crimea. The Russians are currently carrying out “hidden mobilization” en masse. However, in order not to provoke riots in Russia, the Kremlin prefers to mobilize the population of the occupied territories, see point 1.

Usually, such “volunteers” are thrown to the front without appropriate equipment and training. in this way, Moscow solves two tasks: it learns the enemy’s firing points and it achieves the mass deaths of Ukrainians on both sides of the front. The latter allows the Kremlin to simulate a “fratricidal war” and mentally divide the people. Once again, the Kremlin benefits from your death.

The Center of National Resistance emphasizes that the peaceful future of the occupied territories is possible only after their liberation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To achieve this quicker we appeal to the local population to evacuate as soon as possible, ignore passporting, and not participate in the farce that Moscow calls a “referendum“.
