The enemy is obsessed with war and wants its victorious conclusion, but instead, his every step only brings the Russian Federation closer to defeat. Let’s recall how the Kremlin fell into the funnel of wrong decisions.
On February 24, 2022, at 5 o’clock in the morning, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military operation in Ukraine. According to Moscow’s plan, Kyiv was to be captured in the coming days, and Ukrainian resistance would be finally suppressed over the course of months, and our state would cease to exist as an independent entity on the world map.
Then each of us began our own war story. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, many analysts gave Ukraine almost no chance of success, and those who did hoped for a complete consolidation of society in opposition to the Russians. That’s exactly what happened.
From the first days, Ukrainians blocked tanks, demonstrated tremendous self-sacrifice, put up various types of resistance, went to protest rallies: both in the south and in the north. Thousands of queues at the military commissariat, brave civilians, volunteers and mass gatherings at the Armed Forces. So we met the enemy.
While Russian propaganda was preparing a holiday in Luzhniki, you and I stopped and destroyed the invaders in all directions. The atrocities of the occupiers did not suppress resistance, but only increased it. It was the resistance of the Ukrainians that became the engine that unblocked the supply of weapons from our partners. Ukrainian refugees, as well as representatives of the diaspora, who tirelessly gathered tens of thousands of rallies in the capitals of almost all the world, contributed to this.
We stopped the enemy with our bare hands. The occupiers drowned in the Dnieper and burned near Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and other cities. Unconquered Mariupol and Severodonetsk were destroyed for not surrendering the city to the enemy.
The Russians immediately launched a repressive machine on all captured lands, but our people continued and will continue to transmit information about the location of the enemy’s army. This is what allows us to liberate our cities. The brave people of Kherson waited almost a year for liberation and continued the struggle. It is now being continued by Berdyansk, Melitopol, and even Mariupol, Lysychansk. Donetsk and other Ukrainian cities.
All the world’s media wrote about the Ukrainian resistance: from India Express, El Independiente to NYT. The whole world knows that a Ukrainian is synonymous with the word brave.
The enemy is afraid. The enemy is gathering a horde. The enemy wants to win with numbers, but the light of freedom has already dawned on Ukraine, which gives the synergy of society and the army. Each of us is in our place and each of us is bringing victory not only for Ukraine, but also for the free world.
The defeat of Ukraine in March 2022 would lead to the Russian occupation of Moldova, Belarus and other states, which would only further increase Moscow’s appetite and demoralize the democratic world. The revenge of the autocracy and the decline of the Western world would begin.
But we persevered and will persevere, no matter how difficult it was for us before, and it will not be difficult in the future. Every attempt by the Kremlin to change the course of events only postpones the defeat of the Russian Federation, because it further burdens the economy of the country, which is already in political isolation. The empire will fall because it is unable to overcome our opposition. Glory to Ukraine!
