In the temporarily occupied territories the enemy began to put pressure on academicians and members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Those who still live in the occupied territories were informed that they must join the Russian Academy of Sciences and renounce their membership in the National Academy of Sciences. Scientists are encouraged to get paid from 40 to 80 thousand rubles, but in case of refusal they were promised to block the work and “further problems”.
Also, all scientists were informed that in order to join the ranks of the Russian Academy of Sciences, it is necessary to obtain a passport of the Russian Federation.
We do know all the names of Russian collaborators and therefore anyone who puts pressure on scientists will not escape responsibility within the current legislation of Ukraine.
