As part of its ongoing attempt to legitimize the occupation, Russia has scheduled an “International Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus”, set to take place in Nizhny Novgorod in the summer of 2025.
Gauleiters from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) are being brought in to participate in this propaganda event. The forum is expected to include the signing of so-called “international agreements” between the TOT and the puppet regime of Alexander Lukashenko.
Through this spectacle, the Kremlin seeks to project an illusion of international recognition for the occupied territories, attempting to signal to the world that their isolation is weakening.
However, these efforts are futile and will remain purely performative, as previous visits by Belarusian delegations to the TOT resulted in nothing more than empty declarations of cooperation.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
