Russian occupying forces constantly use infrastructure protected by international humanitarian law as a place to deploy their troops.
This is not the first time we have reported on the Russians’ use of schools, hospitals, and densely populated areas for setting up artillery positions and personnel.
Thus, according to new information from the underground in the city of Nova Kakhovka, the occupiers partially dismantled the roof of one of the buildings of Novokakhovska school No. 10 and installed large-caliber mortars there. Covering themselves with the civilian population, the Russians fire on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders and the civilian population on the right bank of the Dnieper. The settlements of Kozatske, Vesele and Odradokamyanka fall into the affected zone.
We urge residents of these settlements to move beyond the limits of potential damage. The fire range of the 120 mm mortar is 7.1 km.
The Center of National Resistance calls on the residents of TOT to leave the region and not become a “human shield” for the enemy. We will return home after de-occupation!
