The occupiers force local residents to provide services for the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
In order to stop the counteroffensive of Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south, the Russians involve the civilian population to build fortifications. According to our resistance movement members, such situation is observed in the villages of the temporarily occupied districts of the Kherson region.
First of all, this is another violation by the Russians of the Convention on the Protection of the Civilian Population in Time of War. After all, this is not only the use of the civilian population for military purposes, but also the use of local residents as “human shields”.
Therefore, the Center of National Resistance reminds the civilian population, if possible, to leave the TOT for the duration of the special operation to liberate our territories.
