The Russians took the “Stone Tomb” exhibits to Crimea

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russians exhibited exhibits stolen from the historical and archaeological reserve “Stone Tomb”.

In the Crimean museum-reserve “Khersones Tavriyskyi”, the occupiers opened an exhibition with 120 archaeological artifacts that were taken from the “Stone Tomb” museum, which is located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In January 2023, the “director” of the “Khersones Tavriyskyi” museum, Elena Morozova, who was appointed by the occupation administration, reported that a delegation had left Crimea to study the funds of the “Stone Tomb” reserve. Similar processes are taking place with the Berdiansk Art Museum, from which the occupiers have already begun to take away the most valuable paintings.

We will remind that Russians took 15,000 exhibits of the Kherson Art Museum to Crimea before its de-occupation by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The National Resistance Center emphasizes that all collaborators involved in the theft of Ukrainian cultural values will be punished.
