In the temporarily occupied territories of eastern Ukraine, the prices for various categories of goods tend to rise.
According to the price analysis, since the beginning of this year, the cost of food products has increased by an average of 15%, while prices for non-food products have increased by about 8% compared to the previous year, 2022. Prices for services have also risen sharply, with housing and utilities going up by 20%, fuel by 23%, and medicines by 11%.
Thus, the invaders are gradually driving the local population into even greater poverty, and the economy in the TOT is falling into the abyss, which could provoke increased protest sentiment.
