In the temporarily occupied territories, Russians are demanding that labour relations be re-registered by Russian standards.
Starting from 1 July 2023, the Russians planned to introduce labour relations under Russian law, but the slow pace of passport issuance forced the enemy to postpone its plans until the summer of 2024.
However, the occupiers are already demanding that employers start re-examining employment contracts. The purpose of the pressure is to get employees to receive an enemy passport.
As a reminder, in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russians are forcing all taxi drivers to obtain a passport by 1 September. Otherwise, they threaten to revoke their licence, and taxi operators have to fire such drivers.
