A series of successful attacks by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on military facilities and critical infrastructure on the TOT of the Crimean Peninsula increases the enemy’s espionage mania.
According to data received from the Ukrainian underground, the enemy’s power structures estimate the protest potential of the peninsula at 30,000 people. Under the auspices of the FSB of the Russian Federation, a network of resources for denunciations was created. The “most popular” among them was “Krymskyi Smersh”. The special services are encouraged to find and expose “violators”, so the atmosphere of 1937 prevailed on the peninsula. Voluntary informers are ready to turn in neighbors for any combination of yellow and blue colors or listening to Ukrainian music.
Therefore, the National Resistance Center calls to report such cases of civil rights and freedoms violations in the temporarily occupied territories.
Residents of Crimea who have relatives in the territory of free Ukraine, former military personnel and employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and law enforcement agencies. Persons who held positions in state authorities and local self-government bodies before the peninsula’s occupation in 2014 are under suspicion of the enemy. In a system of total distrust, the enemy can deploy a repressive system even against those who contributed to establishing his power during and after the invasion.
Separately, the enemy singles out the Crimean Tatar community. In the same way that during Stalin’s time, the occupier defined the entire national community as a “traitorous people” and constantly conducted raids in the areas of compact residence of the indigenous people of Crimea.
The National Resistance Center reminds us that similar actions of the occupiers require appropriate conspiracy measures from the Ukrainian underground. Do not express pro-Ukrainian views in public places, as the enemy uses agents in civilian clothes who can deliberately provoke you to reveal your position. Use secure messengers and mail services when corresponding with relatives in the free territory (proton, tuta). Also, don’t forget to clear the data on your electronic devices on time.
