The Russians have limited the provision of medical care to the residents of the Kherson Oblast

The invaders continue to violate international humanitarian law and use medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territories to meet the needs of their army.

In particular, new cases of the use of civilian hospitals for accommodation of the Russian army were recorded at the TOT of the Kherson region. The Russians limit the civilian population’s access to medical services at the place of residence, since the main attention of the medical facility workers is focused on the wounded occupiers.

Elderly people and children who, due to various circumstances, could not leave the occupied areas suffer especially from such actions.

In this regard, the invaders grossly violate the articles of the Geneva Conventions, since the occupation authorities cannot appropriate civilian medical facilities or use medical personnel for their own purposes.

Note that from January 1, 2024, the enemy will generally refuse to provide medical services to Ukrainians who refused to receive a passport of the Russian Federation.

The Center of National Resistance calls on Ukrainians together to speed up the moment of liberation of their homeland and to provide information to the Defense Forces regarding the placement of enemy positions on the TOT.
