According to available information, a new assault special detachment, “Storm Gladiator,” was formed in the Russian Federation from prisoners recruited for the war against Ukraine.
It is noted that this is a privileged semi-secret battalion, which consists of several hundred convicts with combat experience. It is named “gladiators” in honor of the former general of the 58th Army with the call sign “Spartacus”.
The battalion is commanded by an ex-policeman convicted of a brutal murder. This unit selects people with a high level of physical fitness, experience of service in law enforcement agencies, and combat veterans.
In addition, at the training ground, the “gladiators” are trained, in particular, by former “Wagnerians” and Kadyrovites from the “Akhmat” SOBR unit, which is part of the Russian Guard.
The National Resistance Center reminds all citizens of Ukraine in the TOT that brief and up-to-date information about the enemy can be instantly transmitted through certain anonymous messengers for further elimination of the enemy by Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
