The mobilized Bashkirs are trying to avoid taking part in hostilities

Against the backdrop of protests in Bashkortostan provoked by the detention of local environmental activist and one of the leaders of the Bashkir national movement Fail Alsinov, mobilized Bashkirs are trying to avoid direct participation in hostilities. After the arrest of Alsynov and his sentencing to four years in prison, Russian police used massive force against the protesters. The protests covered a large area of Bashkortostan, including Ufa, the region’s capital.

Members of the Ukrainian underground managed to document the existence of ethnic preferences in the occupying army. Officers of Bashkir nationality transfer their compatriots to non-combat units and constantly reward them with awards. In particular, Bashkirs have moved to the second echelon in the Kreminna direction and near Avdiivka, limiting themselves to logistical support and repair and evacuation services for the Russian forward units.

In this way, they are trying to protect the mobilized Bashkirs as much as possible to continue the national liberation movement in Bashkortostan. Against this background, Russian soldiers have repeatedly had conflicts with representatives of Tatar nationalities.

The Center of National Resistance calls on the residents of the TOT to report information about the arrival of the Russian military units consisting of representatives of the people enslaved by Russia. If possible, raise the issue of their national independence and the right to self-determination among their people.
