Ukraine is facing the third year of full-scale aggression in the fire of fierce total resistance. The achievements and deeds of the burned, fierce, struggle-hardened Ukrainians, united by the spirit of resistance, are already being celebrated in art projects and reflections.
Thanks to the collaboration of well-known Ukrainian artists and members of the SOF resistance movement units, the calendar “The Third Year of Full-Scale Resistance” was created. The cover features the sculpture “Spirit of Resistance,” which visually embodies the indomitable Ukrainian spirit.
The mask deserves a special mention, as it symbolizes belonging to the resistance. Each month is a specific person, and at the same time, anyone can be behind the mask; it is a generalized image of the “faces” of the heroes who joined the great struggle against the occupier. The last page features a mask hanging on a knife, inviting people to join the defense forces and stand shoulder-to-shoulder against the enemy.
The calendar starts on February 24, the day that became not only the beginning of the enemy’s full-scale invasion of our land but also the day of national unity, cohesion, and steadfastness in the struggle for the future of Ukraine.
