The invaders at their own discretion dispose of the property of Ukrainians who were forced to flee from the occupied territories. The housing of Ukrainians is “nationalized” and Russian soldiers or civilians who came to the city to work are settled there.
Recently, the so-called People’s Council of the “LPR” passed a law that “regulates” the transfer into state ownership of apartments that the occupants liked. They also created a register of such housing. More than one thousand abandoned apartments are included in this list.
This practice is resorted to in Mariupol as well. Here, the occupiers issued an “order” for a complete inventory of multi-apartment and private buildings and began to go around the housing. Houses whose owners are not identified are entered into separate lists. Empty apartments for nationalization are also being sought in Zaporozhzhia.
The Russians are not ashamed to take apartments from those TOT residents whom they deported to Russia. We invite anyone who has information about the collaborators and assistants of the occupation authorities who are involved in the so-called nationalization of housing on TOT to report it using this link.
