Due to the lack of doctors in the TOT, the invaders continue to bring medical teams from all regions of Russia. For example, doctors from Yakutia in Donbas resort to the correction of complex ophthalmological diseases. Also, “specialists” from Karelia come to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to practice medicine.
In order to correct the situation with the marriage of medical workers, the invaders are implementing the “Zemsky doctor” and “Zemsky paramedic” program. It provides high salaries and various bonuses. But it doesn’t work.
Most of the Ukrainian doctors who find themselves under occupation refuse to cooperate with the enemy. That is why it is necessary to bring specialists from the farthest corners of Russia. And not only specialists, but also interns are being promoted to practice in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
At the same time, a trend is being observed in which priority is given to Russian citizens in the provision of emergency medical care. This leads to a critical situation in the occupied regions, intensifying the epidemiological situation and the humanitarian crisis. Mortality among the civilian population is increasing significantly.
