The occupiers can now “legally” take away housing even from those residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine who have not left and have even registered their property rights in accordance with Russian law. It will be enough to declare the property an emergency.
The occupation administration of the Kherson region has prepared a bill to evict Ukrainians from apartments and houses that will be included in the list of emergency ones. It does not mention the criteria for determining such a list.
However, based on previous experience, the occupiers are appropriating any property that catches their eye. To do this, they simply “nationalize” the property. The National Resistance Center reminds every occupier and collaborator that you are a target of the Ukrainian Defense Forces for your criminal activities and will sooner or later be destroyed.
