In today’s theater of war, information is one of the most valuable resources. This is especially true of information that directly affects the national security and sovereignty of our country.
In the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the issue of collaboration is of particular importance. Therefore, traitors who directly or indirectly cooperate with the RPA and ROV pose a threat not only to the security of the state but also to national unity.
In this regard, the transmission of information about their activities is critical.
The role of collaborators in Russian occupation administrations should be clarified a bit more.
Collaborators are people who, due to their internal convictions, voluntarily agreed to help the Russian occupiers establish and strengthen control over the occupied territories. They usually perform a number of the following tasks in the interests of the enemy:
– collecting and transmitting information about the local population that does not support the actions of the occupiers and Ukrainian resistance forces
– organizing and conducting propaganda activities to support the occupation regime (organization of pseudo-elections, etc.)
– introducing repressive measures against those who oppose the occupation;
– managing the occupied territories in the interests of the enemy.
So why is it important to pass on information about the activities of collaborators?
– Ensuring public safety. Information about the activities of collaborators helps to identify and neutralize threats to the local population. This helps to prevent possible reprisals and save the lives of people in the TOT;
– Strengthening national defense. Timely and reliable information about the activities of collaborators helps the Ukrainian Defense Forces and other law enforcement agencies counteract the occupation forces more effectively;
– Restoration of justice. After the de-occupation of the territories, information on the activities of collaborators will become the basis for investigations and prosecution. This is an important step towards restoring justice and preventing similar crimes in the future;
– Supporting the morale of society. The knowledge that collaborators will not go unpunished helps to maintain the morale of society and its readiness to resist the aggressor.
In conclusion, we emphasize that the transfer of information about the activities of collaborators working in the RPA is an important component of Ukraine’s national security. It not only helps to protect the population and support national defense, but also contributes to the restoration of justice and will eventually lead to the de-occupation of the territories.
