The invaders have determined the procedure for holding typical Soviet line-ups on Monday, September 2, at the beginning of the school year.
The events are planned to be held in the halls, assembly halls, or gymnasiums of schools for students in grades 1, 9, and 11. The rest of the students will have classes in their classrooms immediately.
The occupation administrations and Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation representatives are particularly concerned about the growing activity of the youth underground in Crimea.
That is why the events’ format was chosen, allowing the occupiers to conduct additional checks of students. Federal Security Service officers and security firms involved in supervising students were instructed to perform extra checks of students before the events.
The beginning of the school year is another opportunity for the enemy’s special services to carry out possible provocations to blame the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Ukrainian authorities.
Russian intelligence services have repeatedly demonstrated that when the Kremlin needs an excuse for another act of aggression or mobilization of its society into the ranks of the occupation army, they are ready to stage terror.
The Center of National Resistance calls on parents of schoolchildren and students to avoid participating in official events under any pretext. Do not expose the lives and health of your loved ones to possible enemy provocations. It should be noted that school rules were amended to prohibit students from using cell phones in the new school year.
In this way, the Russians are trying to prevent video and audio recordings of the topics that will be discussed with students. We assume that the phones seized from the students will be subject to inspection by representatives of the special services.
The occupiers focus on what information resources young people visit, including messenger channels, and whether they have contacts with citizens on the free territory of Ukraine.
It should be reminded that the Russian “educational” program included “Family Studies” for grades 5–9, and by excluding classes on “Fundamentals of Life Safety”, the hours of “Fundamentals of Security and Protection of the ‘Homeland’ with the module ‘Fundamentals of Military Training’ were increased. In the Labor Training course, students are forced to make equipment for the occupation forces—nets, burners—and will be taught how to assemble UAVs.
During educational conversations, which the invaders call “conversations about important things” (“talks about important things”), teachers try to impose Kremlin interpretations of events surrounding the war and the world situation. In this way, the enemy intends to neutralize interpersonal communication between TOT residents and Ukrainians in the free territory.
The number of events involving the military and security forces promoting the Russian war among students is increasing. The Kremlin’s Ministry of Education has repeatedly stated that war veterans are being recruited to teach in schools and as security guards for educational institutions.
In addition to their direct responsibilities in these positions, such veterans must identify students with anti-military and pro-Ukrainian sentiments. They are then subject to increased supervision, and additional conversations are held with their parents. You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
