The selection of the “best” teachers of the Russian Federation took place in Saratov, Russia. Polina Popova, a teacher from the temporarily occupied Luhansk, who gladly cooperated with the enemy, became one of the 20 teachers. Popova, a collaborator, actively promotes among her students not only her subject, but also the ideas of the “Russian world” and all the Kremlin’s narratives about Luhansk region as “the original Russian land.”
Russian propagandists hold such events on a regular basis to completely undermine the Ukrainian identity of children in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Moreover, the Russians hold seminars among teachers in the region to identify children who “potentially support Ukraine.” In their typical cynical style, the occupiers called this “deviant behavior.”
