The annual festival of propagandists “Astra 2024” will be held in November in Russia. Pseudo-journalists from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are actively involved in the festival. Among other things, the best among those who implement the Kremlin’s policy among Ukrainians under occupation will be determined.
The event will be attended by the “winners” of the “new media” competition, which the Russians organized for the second time in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region for the controlled media. The event was supported by the Putin Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The main goal of the festival is to teach propagandists new methods of distorting facts and promoting information about “victories” in the war, as well as heroizing its participants.
The National Resistance Center draws attention to the responsibility for distorting facts and justifying the crimes of the Russian invaders.
