Starting from December 1, 2024, the passports of the pseudo-republics of the DPR and LPR, which the occupiers have been forcing residents of the temporarily occupied Donbas to receive since 2014, will become invalid.
This is due to the forced change of citizenship and, accordingly, passports. After all, the Kremlin has set a clear task for its henchmen – one hundred percent passportization of the Ukrainians under occupation.
In the so-called republics, local collaborators have intensified the process of replacing passports with Russian ones. They argue that from January 1, 2025, residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine without a Russian passport will lose all rights and opportunities. The most socially vulnerable segments of the population under Russian occupation are being intimidated.
