Repression for religion. Another testimony from the TOT of Ukraine about religious pressure

Yesterday’s publication of the National Resistance Center on the destruction of religious freedom in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine caused a flurry of messages to our chatbot confirming this blatant crime of the Russians. Moreover, we have received evidence of repression against those citizens who are faithful to non-Orthodox denominations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Protestant Christian communities and Jehovah’s Witnesses in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region are particularly persecuted. People are forced to hide and avoid any communication, even with their neighbors. Representatives of the so-called Ministry of State Security of “dpr” (MGB) regularly raid their homes and interview their neighbors. If you fall into the hands of the MGB, the “meeting” will definitely end in torture. Both physical and moral torture.

Supporters of the Orthodox denomination are also experiencing the same harassment. However, not of the Gundyaev sect. There is a well-known fact that in the village of Kalanchak in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, Russian terrorists kidnapped a priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Stepan Podolchak, from his home.  The priest was later found tortured to death.

The Kremlin is most afraid of freedom and freedom of thought. It is in the religious communities of the non-Moscow Patriarchate that Putin’s henchmen cannot influence people’s consciousness, values, and beliefs as effectively. And thus manipulate them.

You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
