Since early this morning, the Russians have been trying to steal our holiday from us and once again remind the world of their godless nature.
On December 25, almost the entire Christian world celebrates Christmas according to the Gregorian and New Julian calendars, but there is a part of Ukraine where it is prohibited. The descendants of the NKVD are trying to “ban” the celebration on the free territory of Ukraine, but they will not succeed.
The massive shelling in the morning reminds us who we are at war with. The enemy does not follow the moral principles it declares, and all talk about them is just a delusion. The occupiers do not have religion, because they destroyed it more than 100 years ago, creating a simulacrum that they use as a weapon instead.
People in the temporarily occupied territories cannot freely walk around the nativity scene and sing carols. Even saying that you spend Christmas Eve on the same night as most Orthodox churches and Protestant and Catholic denominations is dangerous.
Like a year and two years ago, rockets are flying across free Ukraine, designed to disrupt the holiday and keep our citizens in basements.
For centuries, Russians have been trying to destroy Ukrainian traditions, distort our holidays and culture. But our resistance, which is stronger than their hatred, stands in their way.
The Defense Forces are destroying the enemy, the underground is destroying the enemy and reporting their positions, volunteers are bringing in supplies and support. The Russians dream of a blackout in Ukraine, but they themselves have long been on the road to eternal darkness.
At the same time, our time is now – the time when we will celebrate Christmas together.
Christ is born! Let us praise him!
