Employees of the temporarily occupied Bilmatsk water utility, which the russians renamed Kuibyshev, have been without salaries for at least six months. These are 60 workers who are trying to provide the local population with at least some water supply.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the territories under temporary occupation have been suffering from a lack of drinking water. This humanitarian crisis in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas was caused by the actions of the occupiers, in particular by blowing up the dams of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
