The enemy continues to implement measures aimed at altering the demographic composition of the population in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT).
Russian authorities are actively encouraging Central Asian migrant workers currently in Russia to relocate to the TOT, offering incentives such as reduced migration requirements and simplified residence permits. As a result, the number of migrants in the TOT, particularly in the Donetsk region and cities like Mariupol, is rapidly increasing, replacing Ukrainians who fled the city due to the occupation.
Through this strategy, the enemy aims to erase the cultural heritage of the region and eliminate any evidence that Russia is merely a temporary occupier of these lands. Their goal is to assimilate the remaining local residents and suppress the region’s Ukrainian identity.
The National Resistance Center emphasizes that Russia’s ultimate goal in this war is the destruction of Ukraine as a state and the Ukrainian nation as a whole. However, the resilience and resistance of Ukrainians continue to thwart the Kremlin’s plans.
