The occupiers are taking Ukrainian lives not only on the battlefield. Yesterday, in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk, two young girls, aged 9 and 10, were struck and killed by a Russian military vehicle. This is not an isolated incident of Kremlin military vehicles harming civilians. In the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine, there is no accountability for such crimes committed by the so-called “liberators.” Instead, the victims—injured Ukrainians—are often blamed for these tragedies.
Repression against the civilian population in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories continues to escalate. For example, new checkpoints have been established in the TOT of Zaporizhzhia, and additional Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) forces have been deployed to conduct random inspections. The occupiers frame these measures as “counter-sabotage” operations.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
