The Russian occupation authorities continue to display the cynicism of their actions by using children as instruments in their propaganda campaigns across the temporarily occupied territories (TOT).
In the Stanychno-Luhansk district of the Luhansk region, the occupiers recently organized a so-called “meeting” to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of liberation from Nazi occupation. Local residents were coerced into attending the event under the pretense of it being voluntary. Meanwhile, children were compelled to join the “youth army,” where the occupiers conduct ideological indoctrination aimed at erasing the self-identity of young Ukrainians.
In 2025, the occupiers plan to double the number of “youth army” centers in the TOT to broaden the scope of their criminal activities. These efforts seek to integrate the younger population into the Russian legal and information space, representing yet another attempt to suppress Ukrainian identity and impose allegiance to the so-called “great” Kremlin empire. You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
