The Occupiers Place Their Personnel in Medical Institutions in the TOT

According to available information, the occupiers, suffering daily losses in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of eastern Ukraine, have begun seizing local medical institutions for military purposes. This move is intended to expand their medical facilities, as the Russian occupation forces reportedly receive up to 300 wounded soldiers per day.

Notably, there is a severe shortage of medical facilities available to treat and rehabilitate wounded occupiers.

By placing their personnel in civilian hospitals, the Russian occupation forces are not only using the local population as cover but also blatantly violating international law. Many elderly residents remain hospitalized in these facilities, yet the occupiers prioritize their own military personnel, disregarding the medical needs of civilians.

As expected, the occupation administrations in the TOT of eastern Ukraine have provided no official comment on these latest violations of international law.

The National Resistance Center underscores that the militarization of medical institutions is not only a violation of international humanitarian law but also a crime against humanity. Hospitals are meant to save lives, not be exploited for military purposes. These actions will not go unpunished. After the de-occupation of these territories, all those involved in such war crimes will face due justice under Ukrainian law.You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
