Children’s Center “Artek” in Crimea handed over children’s buses to representatives of the district council

Thus, the occupation administration of the so-called “Artek International Children’s Center” in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea handed over three buses to the Russian military. Reportedly, the buses will be repainted and marked with appropriate insignia before being sent to the combat zone.

This case is yet another proof of how the Russian occupation administration uses civilian objects to meet its military needs. The use of buses intended for the transportation of children for military purposes demonstrates cynicism and disregard for any moral standards on the part of the Russian occupiers.

In addition, Artek announced that this year the camp will host about two thousand children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which the Russian occupiers call “new regions”. This is another manifestation of the forced integration of Ukrainian children into the Russian legal and information space, which is part of the policy of destroying Ukrainian identity.

Thus, the Center of National Resistance continues to record all cases of involvement of children and civilian infrastructure in the military processes of the Russian Federation by the occupation forces, which may indicate a violation of international humanitarian law and the customs of warfare.

You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
