The occupiers reported the robbery of the OCU church in Enerhodar, thereby independently confessing to the crime.
Thus, the Russians announced the prevention of an “illegal attempt” to export seven Orthodox icons that were found in Energodar in the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Church valuables belonging to the religious community were allegedly transferred by the occupiers to the Melitopol State Local History Museum. These are icons of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Note that at the same time the Russians are actively looting the museum funds of Ukraine. Yes, the museums of Crimea, Donetsk region, Kherson region, Luhansk region and the same museums of Melitopol were looted. Therefore, the removal of the icons to the museum actually means their subsequent transportation to the Russian Federation.
We emphasize that all cases of removal of material values from TOT are recorded by Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and the Russians will have to compensate for their loss after our victory.
But the main thing is human lives. Therefore, Ukraine’s National Resistance Center calls on the residents of the temporarily occupied territories to leave the region for the duration of the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate the territories.
