The enemy plans to bring 5,000 children from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region to russia under the kremlin’s “cultural map 4+85” program alone. The cultural map envisages propaganda trips of schoolchildren to the cities of muscovy in order to brainwash young Ukrainians and further russify them. In addition, children are offered to continue their education in russia.
In the new year of 2025, the kremlin is stepping up its policy of assimilation of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories. For this purpose, additional “programs” of the russian ministry of culture have been created and those that have been operating since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have been strengthened.
In addition to the aforementioned program, russians are actively multiplying other ways of taking Ukrainian children away, changing only the names. These include “university changes” and “recreational” trips.
The National Resistance Center notes that anyone involved in the removal of Ukrainian children and changing their self-identification will be held accountable for their actions. Under international law, such a crime is an act of genocide. These abuses can only be stopped by the complete de-occupation of Ukraine.
