On the Day of Unity of Ukraine, Ukrainian symbols appeared in many temporarily occupied cities.
Blue and yellow ribbons, chevrons and patriotic inscriptions with congratulations were widespread, in particular, in Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta, Alushta, Yevpatoriya, Kerch, Armyansk, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mariupol, Melitopol, Genichesk, Alchevsk and Perevalsk.
This action was another reminder that resistance in the temporarily occupied territories continues. The Yellow Ribbon Movement has once again shown that the courage and unity of Ukrainians cannot be broken, even under pressure from the occupation authorities.
‘They will never overcome our thirst for struggle, for unity, for Ukraine and for peaceful life on a free land. Ukraine is united! It was so. So it is. It will be so. If we fight, we will win,’ the activists emphasise.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
