Thanks to evidence gathered by the SBU, the court convicted him of high treason and illegal possession of ammunition. He used training grounds as a cover to scout locations of personnel, equipment, and ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
SBU counterintelligence officers detained him in February 2023 and seized firearms and ammunition during a search of his apartment.
The court found the offender guilty under two articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code: Part 2 of Article 111 (high treason committed under martial law) and Part 1 of Article 263 (possession of ammunition without a legal permit).
The National Resistance Center emphasizes that all traitors will be found and punished.
