The collaborators are already talking about the critical situation that has developed in the reservation of “Askania-Nova”. Oleg Zubkov, the well-known guide of the occupation authorities and the animal thief, appealed to all nature reserves and zoos of Russia with a request to share their animal fund to replenish the practically destroyed unique reserve somehow.
From the first hours of the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine on February 24, 2022, “Askania-Nova” was in the zone of temporary occupation. 44% of the areas of the natural reserve fund of Ukraine are in the risk zone — due to potential fires, hostilities, and passage of military equipment. Moreover, the occupiers hunted unique animals here.
Subsequently, the occupation administration steals animals from the Kherson reservation “Askania-Nova” and transports them to Russia and Crimea. The theft takes place within the framework of the “cooperation agreement.” However, the corresponding agreement is not valid because it was drawn up by the occupiers themselves.
By the way, on April 28, collaborators plan to hold the so-called Open Day in the reserve. Anyone involved in environmental crimes will be held accountable after the de-occupation of the region. You can report an enemy or collaborator using the link.
