Russians mine residential buildings and residential areas.
The counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues and every day our troops return our territories. When retreating, the enemy uses the civilian population as cover. Before leaving populated areas, the Russians herd civilians into basements so that they would not see the exit routes and would not inform the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, they mine these houses and adjacent areas of residential buildings.
Ukraine’s National Resistance Center has repeatedly emphasized that the occupiers need the civilian population as “cannon fodder” and “human shields”. Therefore, we call on the residents of the temporarily occupied territories to evacuate during the special operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate our territories.
