The National Resistance Center has received information that Belarusian law enforcement agencies are preparing to conduct so-called false flag operations in the border area with Ukraine.
They are planning to resort to provocations, which they will successfully prevent themselves in order to show their Chinese counterparts their capabilities. From July 8 to 19, the first joint exercises of the special operations forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces and the military of the People’s Liberation Army of China take place in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The exercises have the status of “anti-terrorist”.
On the eve of the exercises and the arrival of Chinese units in Belarus, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces, Major General Uladzimir Kuprianyuk, announced the threat of armed provocations in Belarus “in the context of the increasing presence of special forces, mercenaries and various volunteer groups in the border areas.”
This statement was intended to prepare the information field for the Belarusian side to conduct its own provocations, as it would be extremely beneficial for it to demonstrate the ability of its own security agencies to respond to threats in the context of Belarus’ accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the first joint anti-terrorist exercises with the PLA.
Accordingly, the Belarusian security forces plan to “successfully suppress armed provocations” along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, after which they will attempt to blame Ukraine.
