In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the so-called Putin’s “People’s Front” is targeting people with disabilities and confiscating their homes under the guise of “nationalization.” The justification for this seizure of private property is the absence of a Russian passport.
These so-called “front-line fighters” present disabled people with an ultimatum: adopt Russian citizenship or lose their homes. Recently, a 72-year-old resident of the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Luhansk, who has a disability, was coerced into obtaining a Russian passport. Unable to move independently, she was forcibly made a Russian citizen without her consent or knowledge. In addition, the Kremlin recently conducted another “inventory” of land in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, claiming at least 18,000 hectares as allegedly “ownerless.” In reality, this land belongs to Ukrainian property owners who have refused to change their citizenship or obtain a Russian passport.
You can stop the policy of the Russian invaders and their collaborators by publicizing their crimes and demanding their international prosecution. You can also participate in rallies in support of Ukraine or donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
