Preparations for the next illegal elections in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine during the single voting day in Russia have already begun. Local collaborators have been instructed by the Kremlin to organize 9 single-member constituencies in the TOT of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
The single election day in Russia will be held on September 14, 2025 and September 20, 2026. The illegal elections that the occupiers are to organize in the occupied territories of Ukraine by this day will create preconditions for the Kremlin to increase the representation of “deputies” from the occupied Ukrainian regions in the State Duma. In this way, the Putin regime is trying to “legalize” its terrorist activities against the sovereign and independent state of Ukraine.
