Ethnic criminal groups were formed on the TOT because Russians brought migrants to Ukraine. All of them are traditionally under the influence of the FSB, which traditionally uses crime to spread its control.
In particular, in the south of the Donetsk region, newly created criminal groups control the circulation of weapons, scrap metal, and drugs and engage in the “crushing” of passenger transportation.
The National Resistance Center notes that all curators of bringing criminal elements to Ukraine and those involved in extortion on the TOT will be held responsible after the de-occupation of the region.
