Due to water shortages, Russians cannot fully launch seized industrial facilities

In the temporarily occupied territories, Russians are unable to fully launch the seized industrial facilities due to a shortage of fresh water.

Thus, the occupiers are currently meeting the needs of the occupied regions of the east by 60%, which means that there is not enough water to meet the needs of the local population. This poses a threat to the heating season.

Under such conditions, it is out of the question to fully launch industrial facilities, in particular, the petrochemical industry and timber processing. This leads to high unemployment in the region.

It should be noted that under international law, it is the occupiers who are responsible for ensuring the livelihoods of the region’s residents.
