Today, in most cases, the army of occupiers is replenished with people who are serving sentences for various crimes in places of deprivation of liberty. The other day, a journalistic investigation into the life expectancy of recruited Russian soldiers was made public. Those contract workers who get to the front because of signing the corresponding document in prison live no more than eight months. And this is a whole month less than the “Wagner” recruits managed to conquer. One of the reasons for this is a lack of training.
It is known that this practice has become widespread in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The invaders and collaborators “hunt” the locals and try to “correct” the situation with the lack of mobilization resources and replenish their army through the punitive authorities. At the same time, it is not possible to provide basic things: first-aid kits, sapper shovels, and ultimately, serviceable weapons.
