The first parties from Putin’s “movement of the firsts” arrived in the temporarily occupied territories to conduct propaganda activities on the occasion of the celebration of the Russian rag day on August 22.
The activists of the movement, which was created by the Kremlin to control the country’s youth, arrived in the TOT of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. We are talking about groups of up to 70 people. Officially, they will organize festive events. In reality, their goal is to be extras at “rallies” and participate in staged videos for Kremlin propaganda.
This practice has been used by Moscow since 2022, when “celebrations” were officially banned due to the alleged security situation to explain the lack of mass participation. However, extras from the Russian Federation shoot videos to create the illusion of support for the occupation.
